The Crow-Luther Cultural Events Center (CLCEC) was formed in 2006 as a non-profit 503(c) organization. Our main mission is to preserve the historical Plains Theater and two other historical buildings attached to the Plains on the south. Together this complex will be a cultural center with a movie theater, drama production stage, recording studio, internet cafe with local publications for sale, meeting areas, commercial kitchen, and offices. It will be a multipurpose facility for the entire community and surrounding area.
We collaborate directly with the local school district and local artists guild known as the Artists of the Plains. Our programs are run completely by volunteers and we depend on generous donations from our patrons as well as our summer fundraisers to keep our doors open.
CLCEC is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors that meets every-other Wednesday at 5:00 PM at the Plains Theater. The terms rotate every 3 years with 3 seats renewed each year. Below is information about our fabulous Board Members and other Key Personnel.
